Welcome to our little corner of Downingtown, PA. We are the residents of Johnsontown and we have formed a community group to increase the quality of life within our neighborhood. In the March Issue of Philadelphia Magazine Downingtown was listed as one of the "10 Best Places to Live" and those of us in Johnsontown want to continue this legacy within our own community.
This blog is our way of communicating with the readers of the Daily Local News and others who share our goals. During our time with you we will be discussing our issues here in Johnsontown and around Downingtown.
On March 9, 2010 we elected our Executive Board and Executive Committee and adopted our bylaws. We have made a difference in the neighborhood and would like top continue to do that, but we only can with your help. If you would like to join us at our next meeting: Tuesday April 13, 2010 at 7:30PM at St. Anthony's Lodge Banquet Room at 259 Church Street in Downingtown. Hope to see you there!!!
